The term “Blue Zone” has been branded based on five regions (Okinawa, Japan; Sardinia, Italy; Ikaria, Greece; Nicoya, Costa Rica; and Loma Linda, California) showing a disproportionately high number of people live to be 100 years old or older, attributed to specific lifestyle factors like a plant-based diet, regular physical activity, strong social connections, and low stress.
Like the original Blue Zone, the focus of the Violet Zone is to learn from and guide humans to living a long and healthy life. Yet, the Violet Zone expands the focus to live a good life that is defined by a long, healthy and happy life. In contrast to the original Blue Zone which was a result of a retrospective observational exercise done before the digital age, the Violet Zone is turning the perspective into a prospective, proactive approach that integrates the digital, silicon world with the real, biological world.
The Violet Zone comprises four hallmarks - all four are currently already available in the Matter Club as an early version:
Computational Science & Advanced machine intelligence (AMI): despite using a universal set of molecules, to levers to live a good life are highly personal. Given the huge amount of input data, every human in the Violet Zone has the option to train their personal AMI with personal biodata and lever it as a personal coach to get really good at life. The use of all emotional wellbeing data for AMI training is free-of-charge. More complex biodata, such as brain imaging, OMICs, epigenetics or genetics data will require “Joyalties” to access AMI training in the future. We refer to your personalized AMI as “M” in the Matter Club.
