Matter is a small but growing startup. Our first product is an iOS app that pairs personal experience with universal neuroscience to help everyone understand what’s happening in their brain. Our goal is to help people live healthier, happier, longer lives — for themselves and the people around them.

We work Monday through Thursday, with flexible hours. Our headquarters are in Boulder, Colorado. But we’re a fully-remote team, with people living in several different time zones. This means we all work pretty independently but we’re also here to support and learn from each other.

Matter was founded by neuroscientist Axel Bouchon, who previously led the venture arms for Moderna and Bayer; Ben Goldhirsh of Good Magazine and Mighty; and Chris Shiflett of Faculty and Brooklyn Beta.
