A system for human flourishing.

For generations, our economic systems have been measured by growth, productivity and profit. These metrics have driven extraordinary progress, but they have also left something essential largely unmeasured: whether people are actually biologically thriving, as humans.

We believe we are at an inflection point. Advances in neuroscience now allow us to understand the biomarkers of human happiness, making it possible to design systems that support human flourishing, not as a byproduct, but as a core outcome.

Matter exists to explore what a new economic model could look like if success were measured not by how much value we extract, but by how much wellbeing we create. A model where happiness is measurable, emotional fitness can be strengthened, and contribution to others’ wellbeing is recognized and valued.
